NIAID, Integrated Research Facility, Fort Detrick, Maryland

I just wanted to take the time to thank you and your team for your terrific performance on the NIAID project at Ft. Detrick. As you are aware, this project has had many challenges that come with a BSL-3 and BSL-4 lab construction and Bell has always stepped up to the plate to help solve problems and issues. Bruce Shepski has done a terrific job in managing the Project over the past year and I want to recognize Bruce for his attention to detail and completing all the punch items in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Bell and look forward to working with Bell on future Gilbane Building Company projects.

I would like to commend Bell/Heery for their outstanding performance on the Design/Build contract for FCI Berlin in Berlin, NH. The quality of the team's work, from design through construction, was consistently high. They set realistic goals and scheduled activities effectively to meet our requirements. Bell/Heery also recognized that safety was a number one priority, and I have nothing but praise for their safety record. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is very satisfied with our new prison and would recommend Bell/Heery for future work.

The Bell team exhibited a great deal of ingenuity throughout the project through the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and prefabrication of system components. The project management and field supervision staff were leaders in the collaborative effort necessary to construct a project of this caliber. These principles, along with superior craftsmanship of the Bell trades people, resulted in the highest quality finished product delivered on-time and within budget.

Richmond Justice Center, Richmond, Virginia

I am writing this letter as we are now in the process of starting up the mechanical systems on the Richmond Justice Center Project and I recognize how the Turner Team has benefitted from Bell's work on this project. As our Design/Build partner, Bell has helped the project keep ahead of schedule by aggressively managing the design, collaborating with all stakeholders, providing the necessary field supervision and labor to install the work, all while maintaining the original budget and being active participants in community outreach efforts. This scope of work is one of the largest mechanical contracts in progress in the Richmond area values at over $20,000,000 and has been managed extremely well by your firm to date. As a result, we are meeting the aggressive systems startup milestone this month. We value our relationship with Bell and I want to take the time to express our gratitude for the team spirit and collaboration exhibited by your team.
