Bell was selected for the construction of the Dulles Airport Fuel Farm facility at the Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). IAD is the largest airport facility serving Washington, DC area. The project consisting of six 2.4-million-gallon jet fuel storage tanks, 14 distribution pumps, fuel sampling building, a fire/foam building, an operations building, and a fire water pump house complete with emergency generator and associated gear, and site firewater, foam and cooling water distribution.

The project required the installation and coordination of a 24-inch supply and return underground fuel piping system that crossed one runway, three taxiways and the terminal ramp access.   The project further required the installation of terminal hydrant fuel pits and associated piping and valve vaults, along with an extensive underground fiber-optic communication and electrical distributions.
