
Bell Constructors, LLC’s South Carolina Division, recently received a letter of appreciation from Brent Russell, Dean of the Industrial & Engineering Technology Division at Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) for Bell’s support of the college’s welding program.
In 2014 Bell approached the Dean of CCTC’s Industrial & Engineering Technology Division with the goal of establishing a relationship with the college that would help grow the pool of qualified welders in the region. Bell’s goal aligned with and supported Dean Russell’s objective of seeking ways to strengthen the program’s ties to the community, creating hands-on learning opportunities and job placement assistance for CCTC’s highly trained welding students. Forging a partnership with one of the most well-known mechanical construction companies on the east coast would increase the college’s available mentorship and improve job prospects for CCTC graduates.
The partnership has proven valuable for everyone involved - Students, Central Carolina Technical College, and Bell have all benefitted significantly from joining forces:

Check out the webcams at the VCU Health Outpatient Pavilion project in Richmond, VA. Bell is providing Mechanical and Plumbing Design-Assist subcontracting services to Hourigan Construction on VCU’s new 550,000 SF Adult Outpatient Pavilion and 475,000 SF parking deck. Bell’s team is led by Sr. Project Manager Mike Parasch, Project Manager Keith Calhoun, Assistant Project Manager JR Chirco, and Sr. Superintendent Steve Benulis.
Roanoke, VA The crane will support upcoming construction activities taking place over the next 24 months, as the onsite, joint venture construction team of Birmingham, Alabama-based Robins & Morton and Virginia-based Branch Builds begins structural work on Carilion’s new Crystal Spring Tower. Bell BCI Company, LLC is the mechanical contractor on this Design-Assist project. Bell's team in Roanoke is led by Phil Hull, Sr. Project Manager and Brad Kirkey, Assistant Project Manager.
