Project Overview

Bell was part of Turner's Team for this Design-Build project, where Bell provided all mechanical and plumbing installations for the new Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) project located in Fort Lee, VA.

This new four level facility includes administrative spaces, open and enclosed office environments, high-tech audio visual and teleconferencing capabilities, anti-terrorism/force protection design and fast track delivery method. Mechanical systems include: Rooftop DX Air Handling Units, Condensing Boilers, VAV re-heat system with state of the art Energy Management System. This project included enhanced commissioning.

Bell assisted in the Project’s LEED program with innovative solutions in mechanical and plumbing systems and bringing experience in the design and construction in sustainable green building technologies. The Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) was awarded LEED Silver certification.
