Project Overview

The Spinal Cord Injury & Disorders (SCI/D) addition to the existing VA Medical Center provides a coordinated life-long continuum of services for eligible veterans with spinal cord injury.

Bell provided the mechanical and plumbing installations for this 140,000 square foot, six-story addition to an existing medical center. The addition provides space for a 30 bed spinal cord injury/disease center, expanded outpatient services, dialysis program and six new operating rooms. Mechanical and plumbing installations included all medical gas, sanitary waste and vent, domestic water, heating hot water, steam and condensate and chilled water piping.
