On May 21, employees from Bell’s Rochester Office participated in the annual JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge, which is a 5K (3.5 mile) run, with donations benefiting the YMCA of Rochester’s “Send a Kid to Camp Program”. This local community event drew 11,000 runners representing 460 companies including “Our Bell Team” from around the Rochester area.
What began as a hot humid night quickly turned in to a cold wet night and Bell persevered and stuck it out. The corporate challenge is all about the idea of company team-building, camaraderie, and competition. We accomplished all of that together as a team while supporting a very worthwhile local program which enables children that live in low-income communities to get away from the hot, noisy city streets and enjoy quality day camp experiences in the country.

Bell was awarded the Mechanical and Plumbing scopes of work for the Design-Assist and Construction phases of the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Crystal Springs Tower Addition & Renovation Projects. Phil Hull, Project Manager, is the Bell Lead at Roanoke Memorial, and is supported by Assistant Project Manager, Brad Kirkey.
United Therapeutics Headquarters, one of the largest U.S. net-zero commercial buildings, was featured as, "Project of the Year Finalist, Best Green Project: Unisphere", March 19, 2020, Engineering News-Record.
