On May 21, employees from Bell’s Rochester Office participated in the annual JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge, which is a 5K (3.5 mile) run, with donations benefiting the YMCA of Rochester’s “Send a Kid to Camp Program”. This local community event drew 11,000 runners representing 460 companies including “Our Bell Team” from around the Rochester area.
What began as a hot humid night quickly turned in to a cold wet night and Bell persevered and stuck it out. The corporate challenge is all about the idea of company team-building, camaraderie, and competition. We accomplished all of that together as a team while supporting a very worthwhile local program which enables children that live in low-income communities to get away from the hot, noisy city streets and enjoy quality day camp experiences in the country.
