To help make the holidays brighter for those in need, Bell BCI Company, LLC partnered with the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) - Virginia Chapter to provide Winter Care Packages for local needy children who may not have enough to eat during their winter break. Bell employees in our Richmond office collected canned and pantry food items, treats, stickers, activity books, Christmas pencils, hats and gloves and other necessities worth approximately $200 and delivered the packages to ABC for distribution to the local school district. These contributions will help feed approximately a dozen children or more for a week. Children who qualify for reduced price or free school lunches will receive care packages on the last day of school before Winter Break to share with their families.
Pictured here are Paul W. Stiles, Melissa Leonard, and Tim McGarvey, three of several Bell employees who helped make this event a success. Melissa Leonard and Phil Hull also attended the ABC Holiday Party and Casino Night, where attendees donated additional items to support the Winter Care Package initiative.
Bell was awarded a chiller upgrade project at Fort Meade, MD. Bell will be the General Contractor and self-perform the Mechanical and Plumbing Scope of Work.
