After 37 years with The Bell Company, Steve Ruether has retired. Pictured here with his wife, Brenda, they moved 13 times during his early years with the company. In 2008, he became an owner and served as President through 2021.

The Crystal Spring Tower is a 400,000 square foot expansion to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. This video explains the stages of construction, which began in the summer of 2020. Bell is the mechanical contractor for this project, and our team in Roanoke is led by Phil Hull, Senior Project Manager, and Brad Kirkey, Assistant Project Manager.
Bell was awarded the Mechanical and Plumbing scopes of work for the Design-Assist and Construction phases of the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Crystal Springs Tower Addition & Renovation Projects. Phil Hull, Project Manager, is the Bell Lead at Roanoke Memorial, and is supported by Assistant Project Manager, Brad Kirkey.
