After 37 years with The Bell Company, Steve Ruether has retired. Pictured here with his wife, Brenda, they moved 13 times during his early years with the company. In 2008, he became an owner and served as President through 2021.

Bell was awarded the Mechanical and Plumbing scopes of work for the Design-Assist and Construction phases of the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Crystal Springs Tower Addition & Renovation Projects. Phil Hull, Project Manager, is the Bell Lead at Roanoke Memorial, and is supported by Assistant Project Manager, Brad Kirkey.
The recently completed United Therapeutics headquarters building, the Unisphere, constructed in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, has been certified LEED Platinum. The Bell Company, working as a subcontractor for the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, was responsible for all Mechanical and Plumbing construction.
