Project Overview

The Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH) new building, located at the intersection of Washington and McElderry Streets in East Baltimore, is a transformative addition designed to support the school’s growing faculty, students, and programs. This 240,000-square-foot research and academic facility will serve as a central hub, bringing together all 10 academic departments and enhancing collaboration through new instructional spaces, workplace and convening areas, and modern amenities, including state-of-the-art media production broadcast and podcast studios and smart classrooms outfitted with hybrid learning technology enabling seamless connections with colleagues around the world. Connected to the Wolfe Street facility, the new building will foster a dynamic environment that promotes engagement and innovation. This project is a key investment in BSPH’s strategic plan and supports JHU’s Ten for One goals.
